Cab vents. They allow the air pressure to equalize rapidly when closing doors.This is between the cab and box on my 2014 1500 5.7 Outdoorsman. Never noticed it before. I must be slow. Who would like to explain this to me.

The hardest part is removing the rear seat but after that was easier than I expected.

I would occasionally find the carpet damp, I don’t have a rear window & my 3rd brake light showed no evidence of leaking.What made you replace these? Other than our OCD?![]()
Same here a couple years ago. Most of the flaps were missing on mine and the carpet was really damp. Replaced the vents and no more soggy carpet.I would occasionally find the carpet damp, I don’t have a rear window & my 3rd brake light showed no evidence of leaking.
As bad as they were, I would have thought it would’ve leaked a lot more, no leaks after the new vents.
