Debating on pulling the trigger on the single jl audio stealthbox which fits on passenger side and allows you to keep driver side cargo and fold flat floor. It's really not that much more tho to switch to their double box which makes you lose your cargo area but from what I see you get to keep the folding floor.

My question is if I do the seat mod that allows me to fold the back of the seat down has anybody seen or built any cargo solutions for the area behind the seat??

There is not much room back there. Maybe enough room for a wide cargo net attached to back wall or something similar.

Area behind the seat is where you mount all your amps and processors. I'm considering building larger floor bins since I have a crew cab to store more stuff.

The single you can’t retain the fold flat floor

I have heard with the double you can keep it but it will no longer be perfectly flat

Not a fan of the seat mod as could create a dangerous situation if hit hard from behind

The dual all day long and twice on Sundays

I do find myself storing thing like towels, change of clothes, ice scraper, umbrella and things of that nature on the narrow floor area between the back wall and load floor. More space than you might realize

JL rep said you have to do a little trimming of a couple brackets and the load floor will sit flat with the double seat set up. It'll be a month or so before I'll be able to install mine to verify this though.

You could, but then you couldn't flip the seat up as the back moves closer to the wall when you raise it.

One sub on the market will work... the 13TW5... I had one and never got around to building the box. It would be a complicated box and the seat puts a slight dent in the grill - but you can make it happen.

I'm pretty sure that's the best shallow sub on the market right now.

You could buy the OEM Alpine box from someone and upgrade the speaker.99c61741cbb187004c0904019c9e497b.jpg

I couldnt agree anymore! and if you are in an accident and the seat gives way they will do an investigation. When they see that its modified they can and most likely will turn down the claim due to the modification.
