Rear Tailgate / value

I am wanting to do the spare tire tailgate on my pickup and was wondering what a good price to ask for it would be. Anyone have an idea?

I am really diggin' the ram runner look so I'm exploring ways to get there

Thanks for the input. Its in perfect condition I just don't want to have a bunch of parts sitting around that I wont have a use for. Plus offsetting the cost of the carrier would be great!

Such items as this, you may want to hang on to in case you ever trade or sell in the future. Such a mod may actually deter from your value. Most want as close to stock as possible when buying used.

Value isn't that high because tailgates are easy to remove so craigslist **** have them up for sale all the time. One dude is even selling one for 10 bucks here locally. Plus they are cheap and pick and pull too. If you found someone who wanted your exact color would be the best bet for a couple hun.

Truck is silver. I've been researching eBay and stuff and saw $400 is pretty common. A lot of parts listings too. Guess I need to decide if I want to bite the bullet or not
