Rear passenger window not working. Took the known good switch from drivers side rear, moved it to passenger side and the window works fine both from the master switch and the rear passenger switch.
Ordered a new switch, same part number, installed it and passenger window still doesn’t work. Once again tested everything using the switch from the drivers side and it works fine.
thinking I had a defective new switch, I ordered another from the dealer. Plugged the second new switch in and no go. What gives? Do these switches need to be programmed to the BCM or something. Again if I test with the switch from the drivers rear door everything works, so that tells me the wiring, actuator and motor are working.
edit: neither of the new switches work on the drivers side either.
