I've come across the opportunity to have my rear windshield swapped with one that has the center sliding window. Can I please get your opinions. Keep it or swap it?

I'd run as fast as I could from it!!!!!!! lol. Seriously, though, they do leak quite often. Mine leaks occasionally (has been replaced by dealer but still leaks sometimes). Car washes with the wand two to three feet away can make it leak when it wants to. Keep the seals around the slider cleaned regularly and maybe treat em with something to keep them pliable and you should be ok. Honestly I wish I had a solid rear windshield. They do look cool and are handy for breezes while driving in cool weather.

I would trade someone for my sliding for a the solid glass. I am not a fan at all. Mine has leaked as well.

I have owned 3 rams all with power rear windows, and have never seen one leak.

I have also owned 3 Rams with sliding back glass. No leaks for me either.

I think its personal choice. I go back and forth on mine really. Its a bit tough to open and close in a SC while rolling down the road. But also nice to have the option of opening it up. If you want the option, do it.

I'm on Ram 2 with no leaks. I love my back slider. I open it up partially and open my driver Windows and get the nicest back draft. It's especially good to get the heat out of the truck on hot Florida days. Go for it!
