Can they put a stock sport grille on the rebel replacing whatever you call that thing that's on there now?

Yes, the grilles are interchangeable. Many have put the Rebel/Limited grilles on other trim levels, so the reverse should be possible as well.

Other trim level grills may not fit on the Rebel as part of the design is the front bumper.

The Sport version grille tapers in at the bottom and goes a lot lower into the front bumper which is notched out for it.
If I'm not mistaken, the Rebel doesn't have the active shutters so the grill probably doesn't have the air velute on the back like the trim level grilles.
Any of the other trim levels aside from the Rebel are interchangeable though.

I stand corrected. The Limited grille and Rebel grille are in fact different. The Limited does not require modifications to switch back and forth... the Rebel will due to the different bumper (unless you swap bumpers too, and not sure how that would all play out). Thank you crash68 for the correction.
