Have a 2005, 5.7, 1500 Dodge Ram. Just received a qt of Red Line 5w20 euro series synthetic oil that I ordered by mistake. Info on it says that it is formulated for high end european cars. Anyone know if it can be mixed with my Redline 5w20 synthetic that is in the truck now? This would be a one time thing until my next oil and filter change shortly. Summer time I have been using Redline 5w30 and RP 20-253 filter. Also, is the RP 30-8A a fit for the 2005 5.7 Hemi? Form what I have read, the thread and gasket dimensions are the same as the 20-253 but the website says it won't fit. The extra length is not a problem on this truck.
