Thank you for the info Burla. NY finding from today is that it is definitely louder at warm idle. I made a 15 second clip but don't think I can post it through Tapatalk. Be back in 1000 miles

It might not be lifter tick at all, Could be an exhaust leak...I did an oil change on my truck when I first got it. developed a tick right after, and I know I did all the oil right. looked into it and it was actually a exhaust leak

Yeah still sounds the same, over 1000 miles later...exhaust leak is possible I suppose but I've been there recently and I'd think they'd of caught it, plus I'm still under 30k...seems like there's something that needs attention just not sure what...I've checked for codes, no codes

Sorry to hear this. One knock on all redline products is that they clean so well that it "can" cause something like this to be worse. Same thing with their fuel tank cleaner, every once in a while you will get a guy who unclogged something and gets it stuck in the filter and actually caused a problem because of how efficient the stuff is. Esters are crazy good at cleaning, so it is quite possible it cleaned some slime off that was coating the lifters. Total guess there, but it is possible. I would try another oil as I doubt it's exhaust if soon as you changed the oil it got noticeably louder. If a different oil doesn't make it better, start considering going up in weight and turning of mds. but first take it to the dealer and find out if you have a bad lifter.
