I am getting a little nervous about my installer. He is stating that I will need a new carrier for the front axle with the 4.56's? From what I have read on here that isn't correct. This place has done a lot of gear swaps & have been in business for over 50 years but I am still getting worried.
My guy said the 5.13s require a new carrier, and I dang sure didnt pay for a new one with y 4.88s. What brand of gears? Maybe it varies according to brand. Either that, or he thinks you have a half ton or something. My guys put Yukons in mine IIRC.
