Remote start Horn beeps just no start

Ok. Installed hood-latch. Ran harness to connector underneath the fuse box. Enabled setting in Alfaobd. Horn beeps when I press the button on the fob. No hood ajar message on the EVIC either. And the truck doesn't start. MY17 5500 C&C. What could I be missing. [emoji2371]

Also if the truck is unlocked. Pressing the start button on the fob twice. Horn blows and doors lock

This is normal for the horn to beep twice and the doors to lock. If there a CEL or is the fuel tank low the remote start will abort.

Take it for a little drive. I installed mine this weekend and had the same problem. Triple checked everything, went through the programming a couple of times. And all it would do is honk and lock the doors. After I drove it it worked.

I had the dealer install mine, they tried for two days, then I took it home,
I had to disconnect the battery overnight (only way I could think of to reset it), and then, they had to program it again, so IDK, but it was painful at the dealer

It all works now. Just had to drive it. Shut it off then all worked [emoji1303]
