Hello. looking for suggestions on how to reset my remote start. I have been searching the internet for hours and all I can find is how to install, or everything else other than how to fix this issue. I have tried to unhook the battey for 20 plus min, tried some turn the key to run and push the unlock button, found stuff for almost every year but '09. Hopefully someone knows the secret.

Check fuses. Do all other functions of the fob work? Do you have any CEL's(check engine light)?

Did your truck come from the factoty equipped w/the remote start, or was added on later?

The only thought that comes to mind is; maybe, maybe, somehow when you replaced the battery, the trucks' computer may need to "re-learn" or get "re-flashed" so it recognizes the signal sent from fob to then fire up engine???

I only say that b/c my 17' Ram 1500 SLT didn't come w/remote start. I added it later, after installation I had to have the computer "re-flashed" for proper operation. Same process was needed after I added the integrated trailer brake controller.

That's all I got! Good luck!

2010 Dodge Ram 1500 was the second year

The wiring would also be the same, in 2011 & 2012

2013, the wiring may have changed

Thank you. Fob is good, no check engine, none of the "normal" issues. I did find that the remote start box was blinking and finally found what the blinks mean. I just haven't had a chance to pull it back out and see if I can reset it yet.
