getting ready to replace the brake pads on my 1995 1500 with 140,000 miles. Should the rotors be replaced and what pads are the best?

You don't have to replace the rotors. I'd take them to some place and have them turned if they're still think enough to do so. A lot of parts stores will do it for fairly cheap.

I run the Wagner ThermoQuiet pads on mine. Haven't had a single problem out of them and they're pretty good about the brake dust too

I'm looking at doing a complete redo on my brakes. And mine is a 2010.

Wagner Thermoquiets or Hawk Pads would be the way I would go. When I need an upgrade of brakes, I am going to put in a slotted rotor, to dissipate heat, from the larger tires, which will help with warpage, and the Hawk pads.

I have noticed in just a couple hundred miles since installing the level kit and larger tires, my front brakes now starting to squeek a bit.

That's what I plan on is the drilled slotted rotors when I replace mine.
