Finally getting some nice weather and getting around to installing the stereo.

Question, if you've replaced the stock door speakers, did you also run new speaker wire? If so, where did you run it?

I cut open rubber housing to fish a new pair of 14ga wire through, but it seems like that entrance is actually some sort of fuse box or wire connection? It's not just an opening that goes into the cab.

Running new speaker wire is something that is not worth it unless you’re running well over 100w rms per channel or trying to build a competition system. Audio signal is AC voltage and the factory wire size can carry pretty high wattages through it.

I'm in fact running 125w per channel B)

There were a couple empty slots in the door connector that I just drilled through the plastic and ran the 2 pair of wire through there.
