Repurpose Overhead Console Garage Door Buttons

Having those buttons are great if you have a garage door to operate. I do not and they are just sitting there taking up space. I might add a LED light bar for offroad use and was wondering if they could be rewired or in some way connected and used rather than adding aftermarket switches? Has anyone done such a thing or something similar?

It works awsome. I already had wiring into the cab and a relay setup under hood so mounted it inside up on firewall above clutch delete plate and used the remote to power my existing relays for lights
