just got all the led lights for my truck from retro today

the cargo lights came with 2 (what i think are resistors) blue looking thing

how do i install them?

they came with 2 bulbs and 2 resistors, im just not a 100% on how to use them
the rest of the lights were easy, im hoping i can just plug them in

cause i don't know how to solder lol

Try them out with out the resistors
I don't see why you would need them

Make sure your doors are shut or you'll be trying to figure out why they stay on dim.... Lol

EDIT..... are you referring to the cargo lights on your 3rd brake light? if so, i'm not sure about that one. i replaced my 3rd brake light with one from JJ

EDIT..... are you referring to the cargo lights on your 3rd brake light? if so, i'm not sure about that one. i replaced my 3rd brake light with one from JJ

its the cargos im having problems with
i dont know how to use the resistors

i put the bulbs in without them but they glow after i turn them off

well i just shoved them in with the bulbs seem to work fine
i left the cargo lights on for 2 mins turned them off and no glow
well shall see if it does the triick ill keep ya posted

My dad and I couldn't figure out why his were glowing a bit
It's cause we had the door open lol
They come on when you open the door but not to full brightness

i am hoping i did it right by
sticking the resistors in with the bulbs

they dont glow or anything so im thinking its right?

Think your just the only one that's had so much trouble with them
I just changed my dads cargo bulbs and third to LEDs from superbrightled last weekend in his 11
These are the bulbs, no resistors were needed

Are you sure it glows all the time? Lol its stupid but my dad and I thought his we're goong to need resistors because they glowed a bit
Turns out it was jist because we were leaving the door open...

Almost everyone's cargo light will glow dimly with leds without resistors..There is always a small amount of current running through the wires and doesn't affect the stock bulbs but leds take less power to glow..I stuck the exact resistors in the socket with the bulbs like you did. That's fine as long as they run parallel with the socket. You can solder the resistor ends in also.
