I am looking to install projectors with halo's for my quad headlights. I already have all the lighting just looking to focus my HID's within my housing.
I have seen some square projectors as well and kind of liking those.

So my question to you is this: What kind is recommended and where can I buy just the lens and shroud?

JJ from Retro Shop is a site sponsor and stocks Morimoto parts. I'd give him a shout. His site doesn't list everything he stocks, but I'm pretty sure he could steer you right and get pretty much anything you need.

If you just want to buy the projector and shroud check out The Retrofit Source Inc

I'm going through this right now and am actually using a set of Duals that I picked up. I tried it first with my Quads and it didn't work out so well for a couple reasons. The stock Quads are perma-sealed together which makes it a HUGE PITA to open them without messing them up and the shape of the quad won't allow a decent projector to fit in there.

You can get an MH1 in there but it's not the best projector and with some cutting and a small shroud you can fit a D2S in there but it's not pretty. I'm finishing mine up now and am so glad I went with a set of duals. Got a D2S with a Panamera shroud to fit in there nicely.

Yea the duals you can fit the D2S projector in nicely plus better shroud choices. To me a retrofitted dual looks better than a retro'd quad.

Yup, I can get whatever parts you need......and I know these Rams like the back of my hand - so there is no guess work on what is actually needed, vs the "standard" packages on the TRS site.

As for putting duals into a 13+, be prepared, you will need a special harness for that. The standard H13 harness (Mopar) has 2 resistors on the circuit, but nothing on the pass side. The truck will read a lamp out - so you will need 2 resistors on the pass side as well (one for low, one for high)

Okay cool. I'd like to stick with the quad's any way. I'm doing the morimoto h1 6.0 with the mini graphite shroud. Would you recommend doing a projector on the high beams? If so would I use the same lens and shroud?

How about the fog lights? I've seen those done.

I do quite a bit of the fogs.

Mini H1s will fit with a lot of cutting, or Matchboxes slide right in

I am very interested in the fog light option.

Quick question - What is the difference between the 09-12 quads and the 13+ quads?

Thats two totally differnet things you are showing him Chris.....

The 09-12 and 13+ quads are very similar. Differences are in the shape of the high and low beam bowls, and the bezel (slight difference there). They are interchangable though, both will work

Very helpful! Thats what I thought just wanted to make sure. I got my hands on a set of quads from an 09 and I already have quads on my 14. Rather frankenstein the 09's that way I can swap back to original later if needed.

Thanks!
