Bought these about a month ago and finally got around to installing them today.
Well, one of them is flickering almost strobe like.
Anyone ever had this issue with theirs?
Emailed Retro and waiting to hear back.

Please post their reply. It's probably the computer not knowing what to do about the reduced current draw.

I've had this in the past with LED's. It's probably a bad one.

I put them in my truck...I think the stock bulbs put out more usable light.

Good Question!

I'm not sure if they make it clear on their site, but their latest (very high output) lights actually have a thermal protection circuit, and I believe they'll strobe if they get to warm, indicating that it's time to turn them off and let them cool.

Generally this is after several minutes so it never becomes an issue when used for Reverse Lights, but it could become an annoyance if you intend to use the lights in a constantly-on housing.

Thermal protection is a GOOD thing, because otherwise the life of the led could be drastically decreased if overheated, or the diode damaged for good.

You might have the actual LEDs facing the wrong way. Over the stock crap the Crees are way better.

They're plenty bright to look at...there's just no light on the ground.
Meh...I don't drive it enough to care really.

Weird. I can see enough light on the ground. I think if I still had stock tails it would be better. I can see it thru the backup cam too. I do have my pics posted somewhere. If you need to compare.
