Hey guys, just wondering if there would be any reason to go with 20" wheels vs 17s aside from looks? If the handling characteristics would be a lot different
17" wheels should be lighter and cheaper, 17" tires can be also lighter and cheaper. Bigger sidewall would be better offroad, and she'll ride better than 20's on the street. if you've never done 37's before get ready to know why Jeeps run them at 25psi on the street . I run my KO2 37x12.5x17 at 32psi, but i have IFS and i run Kings in my suspension, so she rides like a Cadillac on big meats.
17s with the same size tire your running now will be a better ride. I went from 20s to 17s this year and it a lot smoother. Also the tire price is cheaper with 17s is another reason I dropped the 20.
Awesome! When I looked up the difference in weight on the wheel and tire in the 17 vs 20 it was substantially lighter which I thought was great. I like the look of more rubber less rim anyway
