RKE receiver location

Would someone tell me where the receiver for the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) receiver module is located? I have searched all over and can't find the info. I would like to unplug it hoping to reset it and se if that will get my key fobs working again.

Depends on year and options. The receiver is either the ignition switch itself. Or it’s mounted behind the driver rear seat.
