Remote keyless entry 2018 Tradesman

I've got a 2018 Tradesman. The truck didn't come with the keyless entry fob just the plane Jane key. I got a couple keyless entry fobs and was able to program them and they start the truck with them in the ignition. I've activated rke and remote start with alfaobd but neither one works. At the bcm, pin 11 was there for the hood latch sensor but there's no sensor installed. So I cut the wire to remove the sensor and grounded the pin to the frame to trick the computer but rke and remote start still don't work. Any advice?

For remote start, you also need hardware. Possibly in the same thread, but do a search for more detail. Also, you will need AlphaOBD if you don't already have it.
