I've got a 48" x 18" x 18" front opening toolbox that I'm thinking of converting to a bed mounted, movable toolbox on wheels. Looking for ideas on bed mounted guide rails that aren't too bulky as well as low profile wheels. I will be keeping my tonneau cover so max height on the toolbox should not be more than 20". Inside wheel wells is 49" so any attached wheels need to be very narrow or mounted on bottom and low profile.

So far I'm thinking of using unistrut and a trolley assembly. A bit bulky though.

V-groove casters on angle iron, opening down v up, maybe tacked onto some flat bar which would need to be bolted to bed

Had that in mind, just need to design a good way to lock into place. I would really hate to have the toolbox roll out the back if the tailgate is left open.
