Roof door light

Hey question everyone. The light on my roof inside has never worked. I changed the bulb, even got a different light from a wrecker, and still nothing. Yet the reading lights work just fine with the opening of the door and everything. Any thoughts???

Probably the wiring. If you have a voltmeter, take the bulb out and touch across the terminals in the housing to see if you're getting 12V to the lamp with the door open. Betting one of the wires to it has either frayed and severed or shorted out to something. Don't think you'll be able to fix it without taking down the headliner though.
