I looked and searched through all the threads concerning the rotary shifters. None mention my problem.

2104 Ram Sport is what I have.

Rotary shifter works fine 99% of the time. I don't have the issue of it not going in gear like may have. What I do have is I can't turn it out of park easily on cold days. It does turn and does shift correctly, but on warm days it is very easy. Cold days not so much.

Anyone have this issue? Is there a way to lubricate it? Or something else I can look into?

TIA

Mine catches a little sometimes. I can link it to how hard I am pressing the brake.

Maybe it's pressure actuated and you have a leak.

You'd think by 2104 we would have gone away from shifters all together! :)

The shifter is electronic - so it shouldn't be harder to turn really, unless the some sort of lock is preventing it.. That is odd.. Hopefully someone can help on that..

It feels like it's either something that the knob is rubbing against or something internal in the mechanism that is catching.
