Um what are you saying,as even standing on my head reading,i'm not exactly sure what you said, lol
What I was trying to saying is there is conflicting info on the two parts geek pans. Both application and quality wise. The 93.00 pan is supposed to be made and sold by URO.

The 194.00 pan is supposed to be made and sold by Autotecnica.

They are different castings based and have different filter bolts on the pics I've seen.

There is yet another pan and the bay for 125.00 it was listed as fitting 2013-14 only. that has since been updated.
Rock Auto lists the URO pan as being compatible but clicking on additional info doesn't list the Ram.

Googling Autotechinca or URO says they are the same company out of Simi Valley Ca. known a APA and that their parts are manufactured in the US in Simi Valley. It further states the URO division caters to European vehicles while Autotecnica caters to American vehicles.
Going to APA's website shows both companies but no mention of the parts being made in the US. The Parts geek shows both pans with two different part numbers.
It would appear there are two different overseas suppliers making the pans and they are being sold through multiple sellers on multiple sites. Some mention Autotecnica or URO and some don't.
So if your head is spinning mine was to and it's due to the BS above.

The only thing i wonder about are their filter set ups, otherwise it looks like a decent buy at less then a $100.If you go for it,get some pics of it,and keep us updated on what you think of it's quality

I'm also concerned about the filter on all of the aftermarket pans. Even PPE as i doubt they make their own filters. Will update if and when I get to this

The factory filter is no great shakes either, lol. Hell they might all be using the same filter median just repackaging it in a differant housing for all we know ;)

I'm getting up there in years and miss the days when one could buy a Quality product without questioning its effectiveness or longevity.
I have a Mitsubishi 6 transistor radio that we snagged at a garage sale. It still has what I believe to be the original battery and still works. We've had it for at least 20 years. I turn it on every couple of years just to see if it works. Also have a couple of wire cage fans that oscillate and are quieter than a whisper
I am sometimes glad we weren't able to have children as the uncertainty facing the world is concerning. Sad part about that is we have no one to leave our estate to :( . We do have have younger relatives but none that deserve anything except possibly one.
Enough off topic rambling
thank you and other members again for all you input and help

Whatever pan you choose, get the pan gasket and bolts from the dealer. Be careful when R&R the alignment dowels in the pan.

The pan is the same dimensionally. They are not angled any differently nor are there any strange pockets. I also have a B&M drain bolt kit that I am thinking of adding to the opposite side to clear the exhaust. All of this will be a less costly alternative to the OEM plastic pan or any other cast aluminum. This will also cut the cost of the service and make using the lifeguard fluid a no brainer
I have the Wrangler on my truck. I posted about it June 3 2024, post #9 in this thread. https://www.ramforum.com/threads/845re-transmission-upgrade.175258/#post-2916696

Any update on this aluminum pan for the jeep?

I changed my fluid a few years ago and got a cheap amazon plastic pan. It appears to be leaking and after reading he reviews the gasket must have shrunk and the drain plug as a slight leak. What a POS

Autozone review says a guy installed it on his ram.

Some Amazon reviews seem not to like it.

Sorry just saw this, In my earlier response

"The more expensive AutoTecnica on Parts geek pan has questionable reviews on AMZ.
In comparing photos the inside of the casting is different than the 93.00 version as well as the filter bolts. Whaatt cho lant lound I ?? Rook good oar work good? No have boht fore chheep plice"

one the ebay pan, for those not exposed to overseas english dialect, what I said was (translated) "What do you want round eye?? Look good or work good? No have both for cheap price"
Now for practice:
"U bling mour uncle sam dorrars to taybul en wi tahk" :laughing1:
you understand now ?
and yes I'm still hanging around just busier than I'd really like to be, retirement is like retreaded tires, not all it's cracked up to be :( :happy160:
