Rough country uppers

So my mevotech upper control arm ball joint failed after 8 months on the 2.8 level. Looking to put upper control arms without breaking the bank.

how are the rough country 31201 upper control arms?

they seem most reasonable

heh, this is what I keep telling people who go for the mevotech's because they're the lowest cost - but they're made for stock suspension not lifted and ultimately you end up replacing them again with real arms later.

Unfortunately I don't have first hand experience with the Rough Country arms so I can't advise on them. I do have the Readylift 67-1501 upper control arms and they work great with a lift/level struts at the 2+ inch level, return the alignment cams to neutral when properly aligned. But they're another hundred $ on top of the Rough Country ones.

I am going to install them. The. Just drop it off at a shop for an alignment again

Pay once cry once. At least you can install them yourself. Others have to pay parts, install time plus alignment.
Mevotechs are not the arms you want for a 2.8' lift.

I just installed the Freedom Offroad UCAs and was very happy with them. I'm running eibach springs on 3rd notch of 5100 ( 3"+/- ) and alignment came in great. CVs appear to be at a good angle too.

i got the rough country arms, super quick shipping.. took me about 45 mintues to install. Def feels stiffer/tighter in the front. Ill drop it off for an alignment this week.

I recommend the Zone UCA's. We have sold tons of them to customers with a similar front lift height as you and they love them! Message me if you would like a quote on them
