Rumbling noise

when out driving with the van at a steady 67mph, sometimes a rumbling noise occurs as if the tyres are running over the rumble strips on the edge of the road. By easing off or pushing the throttle the noise stops.

It only happens occasionally and it never happens under power or no throttle. Any ideas?

U-joint maybe.

Without riding in it and seeing for myself, it could be u-joints, trans mount, or motor mounts.

hard to say I agree. is it like a crunching noise or vibration like a tire is wobbling.?
ive had brake shoes fo this thinking it was drive train.
again hard to tell. any noise while braking?
