Ive looked through about 100 threads in regards to running boards and side steps.

I am looking for running boards that are black and cab length (2014 Quad Cab) that fit tight up against the body (no huge gaps). I actually like the look of the stock ones but cant seem to find the right ones. Mopar online only has crew cab. Wouldnt mind aftermarket that are similar.

Mopar black running boards for quad cab, part # is 82211700AE

Mopar black tubular side steps for quad cab, part # is 82213270AC

As far as aftermarket, I have the Go Rhino RB10 running boards for my quad cab and like them. They stick out a bit farther than the tires, but I wanted something you could actually step on so I was willing to deal with that tradeoff.

Not sure where you live but I see them on craigslist all the time! Check there and your local facebook trader.

I like those and the NFab ones, but I think they really only look "right" on lifted trucks like yours.

You have a pic of them installed on your truck?

Based on the part number you gave me the OEM ones run from 530-630 bucks

The OEM ones are more expensive from MOPAR sellers but I see lots of those OEM units online for a lot cheaper. I've sold two sets on CL in my area in the past 2 years.

They can be a difficult item to ship so local sources would be better from a cost standpoint.

Good luck.

Sorry, no good pic and right now they are covered in about 2" of frozen slush and snow :)

Unless you have a great reason for wanting the OEMs, Id look into aftermarkets. They all mount the same (in fact I feel like the Rhino's have a better mounting setup than stock), so it really just comes down to looks and reviews and maybe usefulness if you actually need to use them.

Yeah, Ill probably be going with aftermarket, I have just found a few that hang down really low and id prefer them sit up high close to the bottom of the door.

My Rhinos the boards themselves sit a little higher than the bottom of the rocker panels. What DOES hang down, though, are the brackets. They probably could have gotten away with them being lower profile, but I dont off-road so its not a huge deal for me.

I’m hoping someone has experience and will chime in. I see several good reviews and installation videos where they really like them. Any negative reviews usually revolve around bolts, but people figure it out.

I have the OEM ones on my QC, think they are polished. Look good and solid, but want black just because I have a outdoorsman and nothing is chrome on it except the emblems which are coming off, so will look odd with only the shiny side step.

I've done about a month of research online, looking for boards with the most clearance. I settled on and ordered a set of Go Rhino RB20s.

The RB10 and RB20s seem to sit the highest amongst the various options.

I'll post up some pics of my RB20s next weekend when they arrive.

I've got the Westin HDX Drop Steps & love them but I see you mentioned you're worried about the look of them on a non-lifted truck.

A co-worker has Westin HDX Xtreme Running Boards & he has them on a stock height Sport and they look awesome on it.
