After 20+ years of driving trucks with a blue oval I went Ram. I have a 2022 1500 Limited with 500 miles on it. I "stowed" the runnimg boards and now, even with YouTube's help can't put them back on auto. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. I have a 2022 Laramie and played with them a couple times and never had a problem. Check the fuse protection? Have you tried the dealer?

The problem is me! Not the boards. There is an icon that I can use to extend or close them. But I hit something to store them and can't find it to restore the auto function

The wife has our truck today and I don't remember where in the uconnect menu it is or I'd just tell you where to find it. Check your owner's manual. It'll tell you how to set them back to auto mode.

Care to share how you did it so this thread doesn't sit unresolved for when someone finds it in a search in the future...?
