Have a 2011 Ram Outdoorsman and the sills are rusted pretty bad. The truck is solid everywhere else. I would like to try and replace them.... don't need to be perfect as I am going to chassis saver the outside. Has anyone else tried this on their own?... if so, where did get the parts?... any pointers would be very helpful

yeah.... sorry. the rockers are rusted on both sides. Haven't found a body shop that will do rust work here in SE Michigan. Figured what the heck, replace them myself. seems there are panels that can be bought, just wondering if anyone has any pointers

WEll unless you have body work experience I wouldn’t really try this myself. You would have to cut out old rusted rocker and weld in a replacement.
Kind of a head scratcher that no body shop is willing to do this work for you.

they all provide a life of vehicle guarantee with the work and feel that can't win on that one. I feel this doesn't need to be perfect and whatever we come up with will be way better than the current condition. I see online that quite a few folks are gluing on the parts.
