I think I've gathered all the parts to put a business console in my 2008, Laramie, MegaCab. And I think I should be able to 3D print anything I'm missing.

I'd like to install a gun safe while I'm in the process and got everything out. No sense in putting it all the way in, and then taking it back out to install the safe.

Problem is all the safes I've found online, are saying they fit the Gen 4. Does anyone know of a safe for the Gen 3, business console? Or, know what would be involved in getting a Gen 4, gun safe to work.

Thansk, Jigs.

You can install a safe in your 2008 MegaCab business console, but most “Gen 4” safes may require custom brackets or 3D‑printed adapters to fit properly. Measure your console carefully and choose a model compatible with your year or be ready to modify the mount.

kawaiiitakko, thanks. Printing things is doable, and I have a welder and access to equipment to do sheet metal work, and machining. So, I think I'll order a safe to fit the 09-12, and make it work.
