Where is the satellite receiver located on a 2012 ram? I have a annoying noise in the background of music. It only does it on satellite. The dealership is full of part changers but no one has enough aptitude to troubleshoot. They said it was likely the antenna. I said not likely because it is in the background and doesn't interrupt songs. So they bypassed the antenna. (What do ya know, still there.) Then they said head unit. I said not likely, only does it on satellite. But they changed it anyway. (Hey, still there.) I told them from the start, I believe it is the satellite receiver. They say the truck doesn't have one. I went on Mopar's website and looked up the NAV system with satellite and pulled the part number. So they don't know what the he'll they are doing. So hopefully someone on this sight knows the location of the little black box. They also used a lame ass (normal buffering.) I said that's funny, my wife has the same system in her 2012 truck. And my buddy has the same system in his and neither one experience (normal buffering.)
