Seats won't recline

both of the seats in my 2008 dodge ram will not recline back, these are manual seats, I have tried WD40.

When was the last time you tried to move the seat backs? Has the truck been sitting for a while? There may be some surface rust built up in the seat track and the reclining mechanism preventing it from releasing.

Seats go back fine, just won't recline back, there is surface rust, track looks fine, truck has not been sitting, both levers will not move at all, just seems strange that it's both seats at the same time.

When is the last time you attempted to recline the seats?

did you ever figure this out? my drver side seat wont recline the inner side wont release because it wont move and i cant find replacement part.
