Security light on

The security light is on, truck won’t start and have no power to anything.
I was thinking the battery went bad but I hook my f250 to it with jumper cables and still nothing ?
Any help would be helpful.

And key fob is won’t come out the ignition

Do you have a column shifter or knob shifter? If it is the column type jiggle it up in park firmly and see if that changes anything

Positive battery cable had a split in it and it had corroded pretty bad.
Put a new cable on today and all it well.
