Good evening folks,
I’m looking at replacing my injectors and wanted to get some opinions on some good injectors to run in a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 Sport CC.
Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Unless you're going to boost it,the stock injectors are very capable of handling a bolt-on truck even on nitrous Lyle. You could upgrade to the SRT 4 or Hellcat injectors, but on a bolt on truck they aren't really necassary

My thoughts were on the stock injectors as well. Just running bolt on. Thanks!

Except injectors /connecting rods /crankshaft and pistons, lol. About all the stock bottem end is good for is maybe 600hp and your tuner better know what he's doing, otherwise it's going to break stock pistons on a daily basis, lol. Anything above 600hp should have a complete aftermarket rotating assembly,or at the very least the 6.1 crank and aftermarket rods and pistons.Takes a bit of modding though to make a stock 6.1 crank work in a 5.7,the reluctor wheel needs changing.

Good to know this as some where around the corner of having my whine completely torn apart and rebuilt! But that’s “somewhere” lol. Mentally, I’m already there, reality, haven’t even got out of bed yet on this one!

so your basically saying anyone that puts a supercharger or turbo on is just a ticking time bomb. you're right up close to 600 when you do that with other mods. not saying you're beating the **** out of it everyday BUT most guys that do that are looking at some strip time

I would say yes for the shear fact that if your tune is off a smidge kiss the top ring lands off your pistons goodbye.

You have two options. Regap the stock pistons. Cheaper on cost basically ensures you'll enjoy 600whp for a DD.

If you're trying to push the envelope more you can always go with a drop in set of pistons and rods. That should carry you to the 700whp plus with all supporting mods.

Drop a cam in while its torn down.

There's you might say a few boosted set-ups on stock internals that don't make that many miles before guys have to upgrade the bottom end with rods and pistons.Like Red says above the rings closed up their gap under boost heat, and took out the top of a piston.Stock bottem end motors on boost and pushing 600 hp are mighty close to being a ticking time bomb, lol
