'06 1500. I have had two other Rams, a '12 and a '19 but both had a 5.7. This one is the 4.7 so what I'm feeling may just be normal and I'm expecting more because it is still a V8, just not as big a one. It has 136k on it. Just seems when I'm climbing a hill or anything I need to get on the gas with that it just seems to take a while to get there and it stays in a lower gear until I get up to a cruising speed. It has a brand new air filter in it so it isn't that. Not sure what else I should check. I've read that some check the cat to see if it's clogged but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Any help on what else I should check to see if it's being restricted?
