2016 Ram Powerwagon, 6.4L. I get the Service Electronic Throttle Control off and on with an accompanied check engine light. Sometimes it'll stay for 2-3 days then go away for a week or two then comes back again. Only once so far has it put the truck in to limp mode. If I disconnect the negative battery cable for a while it'll go away but come back on at a later time also. I have noticed also that my average mpg never gets above 10.2 and it used to be around 11.5-12.5 depending on my driving. Any ideas or info would be great. Thanks all and take care.

I had similar issues a few years back on my ‘18 PowerWagon!

I replaced the pedal, no more problems!

I got mine through Rock Auto! I don’t remember the cost, but I don’t remember it being expensive! Very easy replacement!

Hope yours is as simple!

Have the vehicle scanned for any stored trouble code(s), which will point you in the direction to repair.

Was just going to post the same thing. Checking the specific codes is always the first thing to do. A code doesn't tell you what specific part to replace, but will at least point you in the right direction to start diagnostics.
While the throttle pedal may be the issue, I wouldn't suggest slapping on a new pedal without doing some basic trouble-shooting first.

Check your VVT solenoids. That ended up fixing mine
