Service Tire Pressure System

Replaced front tire driver side valve stem and pressure sensor on my 2015 Dodge Ram Dually diesel and I am getting Service Tire Pressure System alarm. Went to local dealer (not where I purchased ) they said because dashboard was showing all dots that I got a bad sensor but advanced auto where I purchased sensor said sensor has to be programmed. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

IMO oem sensors are the best option. The system should recognize the sensor automatically. How long has it been in there?

Drive with it for a while and see if it takes.
