My 2008 ram 1500 shift linkage cable keeps breaking every time I tow. It works fine and when I tow it gets stiff and pops off. My original with the truck burnt up when the plastic piece that holds it broke allowing it to hit my exhaust. So since installing new ones they break every time I tow. Any help is appreciated
