I have installed the 87 tune from the DS InTune and the shift points seemed to be a bit low on the rpm, so I increase the rpm points a bit higher on 1-2 & 2-3 gears at different part throttle %. Has any one else done this or left where the tune put them? if changed has anyone found the "sweet" spot to set them?

thanks,
John

I have 89hf and didn't do any other adjustments. I didn't think you could adjust the shift points with the 8 speed....

When I installed the Hemi Fever tunes, about 6 months ago, I just put it in, and pretty much forgot about it. I'm not sure that I can adjust the shift points.... If I want it to hold a gear longer, I just apply more skinny petal. Its rare that I use the slapstick since the 4.10s, but that's an option, also. Mostly, I just hit the Tow/Haulass button.

But, in a perfect world, normal driving conditions, I'd like it to hold first gear until about 2500 rpm, then about 2200 for the rest of the gears. But like I said, it's pretty much adjustable by using the skinny petal.

Get 4.10s, and that 6 will shift much better.
