Hi everyone,
I've had some shifting performance problems with the truck for a few months now. It seems to me that it is more noticeable when I first start the car. Besides struggling to get to 2nd, the engine has stalled when I switch from reverse to drive (after I back out of the drive way to leave the house). Also, several times when stopped at a red light, the whole truck will "jump," if that makes sense; basically the truck attempts to move forward accompanied by a high magnitude rev.
A friend told me to change the battery terminals, (which were loose!) as it effects transmission performance. I've done that, yet with no improvement in performance. In the last few months, I've also cleaned the throttle body, and changed the sensors at the throttle body (TPS, MAP sensor, iac valve). Transmission fluid levels are normal. Is there something else I can do/check? Please help. Thanks for reading!
