1500 or 2500?

Pavement princess or off road?

I have Eibach, not the smoothest at slow speed but I can fly down field roads and hunting trials at 50+ pretty comfortably. Many others recommend Bilstein if you have a 1500.

I’ve been on the fence about shocks too.

I see many people recommending the 5100’s.

I have researched this and not much has come up…..but I’m curious on the fail rate of the 5100’s…how can that small ass circlip take the pressure/weight of everything above it? It boggles my mind.

I’ve seen a few pics of failures…and it sucks!

I’m leaning towards the Eibach shocks.

Get the 6112s up front. In rear 5100s or 5160s.
Do you have these on your truck? If so, how are the springs holding up compared to the stock ones? Do they seem more firm or soft? I like the idea of not having to pull the strut apart to do just the shocks. Also, having a new set of springs on there compared to ones that are 6 years old.

I have had zero problems with them on my 2016 laramie. They ride well, the springs are holding up and I've noticed no difference in performance other than they are stiffer than stock.

I like a firm ride and do not mind at all how the 6112s feel. They provide a firm ride precise handling and the only difference I saw was ride height as I set them higher than factory.

They came fully assembled, it took about 3 hours to install both sides (for the front) and then I had to go for an alignment.

Going to put them on my 2024 warlock classic when needed.

PS. I've had them on for about 15k miles
