Does anyone have a recommendation for good bang for the buck, bolt in shorty headers to replace the C/I manifolds on my '12 5.7 1500? Looking for something that would not require cutting and welding to the exhaust system.Im sure this is common knowledge to some of the more experienced members here, but not to me....

Thanks all

Depends on what price you want to pay. BBK, JBAs, AFE and of course, ebay Chinese shorties. You get what you pay for. Probably others to but I don’t have any clue. AFE is what I hear are good to use if going shorties. I don’t know personally as I have longtubes and custom exhaust.

Thanks guys, and sorry for the late response. Been out of commission for surgery... Nick, I'll reach out when I actually take my truck offline to work on it. I appreciate the help!

My buddy replaced his manifolds when the bolts broke with shorty headers he got off of Ebay for around $200. They were a direct fit, no cutting or bending but he did say he had a problem getting a couple bolts in because of the way the new shorty headers are bent. It took him a little extra time to get them on but he's now got about 30k miles on them without any problems
