Ok here is the skinny, I added a line output converter to my stock head unit, tapped into the rear speaker wires and ran my remote wire to my switched cigar lighter, all is fine and good but after taking off my bezel and disconnecting all my couplers, something must have went bad. My airbag light is on now and I don't know how to make it go off. I did turn the car on while the airbag coupler on the bezel was disconnected. How can I make it go off?

Well the airbag system is funny. From what I have read is that if you have the airbag disconnected and turn key on the airbag computer will set a fault code in the airbag system. It cannot be removed except by the dealer. Some actually hard code and need a new module. But that is extreme. You could hope that it will go off after a few key turns. You could also try disconnecting the battery for a few hours.

The only way I know to reset the computer is to pull fuse number 31, (check that against the manual and make sure it's the computer), and then turn the key to on, wait til it stops beeping, and then turn the key and hold it at start until it beeps at you.

No. Just pull the fuse, and then all of the transmission options should be boxed when you put the key in. And then when it stops ringing turn it to start and hold it, it shouldn't actually start, and then it'll ring again. And it'll reset the computer.

Ok update I think I have tracked down my problem. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1338334950.738272.jpg
This switch that turns off/on the passenger airbag does not light up when switched to off do u think the switch is bad? Only thing I did was unhook the coupler behind it when I worked on my radio, and I was careful with the wires?

This is a better picture on the switch on and the airbag switch in the off position with the light not lighting up think I messed up the switch.

Since the air bag thinks its messed up, thus the air bag light, it could've disabled that light through the computer. This may be a trip to the dealer thing to get it reset.
