so im debating a lift

Im thinking of lifting my truck this winter with the Rough Country lift and throwing some 35s on the Stock 20s. I believe its a 6" lift kit.

Is there any welding needed for the rough country lift?

id go with the 3inch on 33s. will look just as good. but not so bad on gas. i wouldnt think there is welding. its just a suspension lift.

I really have my eyes set on the RCX lift. Im just curious if new brackets for shocks need to be welded or anything of that matter.

I have 31.5" tires right now, so I want to step it up alot. Either 35"s Nittos or 37" Super Swampers.

Looking at the prices really fast, if I were to buy a zone kit over rough country what are the advantages? Price wise id rather shell out the extra 700 for a Fabtech lift.

And I think I found someone selling a rough country kit for 5 bills on craigslist.

Don't do fabtech. The are filling for foreclosure and I've heard stories of people not reviving a complete set. Cotter me if I'm wrong though.

No welding required. I have the RCX 6" lift and 35's and I love it. Easy to install, and I only lost about 1-2 MPG

I'd get a 6" atleast or you won't be satisfied and might want to go bigger later on, I've heard good and bad from people on rough country but I would think it's a decent kit looks similar to the other brands kits

if you are planning on keeping your stock 20's i believe with a suspension lift you will need spacers. From what i remember reading a lot of lifts say you need 4.5" backspacing on your wheels
