Solid Lifters on 4.7l with upgraded cam

Do I need to install solid lifters when Im upgrading a cam on a 4.7l? from the spec sheet I have it only says it requires lash caps and it doesnt say anything about solid lifters. Is it pretty standard to need solid lifters when upgrading a cam?
