Hi guys,

New on the forum. I have a couple of cosmetic problems with my Ram that I need to fix and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on how to fix them.

The first problem I have is that I have is the chrome on the front of my grill is starting to bubble up. This has to be an easy fix. I was thinking maybe taking a blowdryer to it.

The other problem I have is the previous owner took a chunk of carpet out of the interior. I don't know if there is an easy fix just to patch this or if I have to take it to a shop.

Thanks, guys!

Well if that grille shell is plastic chrome i dont think you can replate that....in fact in pretty sure that grill isnt metal....unless there is a good place that replates plastic...prolly better just getting a new one....you can find them pretty inexpensive though....as for that carpet....hmmmm....not sure....I'd hate to recarpet the entire thing for one small area, maybe a good interior place can "blend" in a patch piece, but if it were me, I'd just get it all replaced....

I would go to a carpet place, one that sells residential carpet. Ask them if the have a matching carpet or scrap. If they do, they may be able to use a glue iron and fix the piece good enough to satisfy. If be happy with a repair that I knew was there if no one else recognized it was a repair.
