As is with every used Ram, my rear cab vent has started leaking. The Ram dealer to the east of me has been locally owned for decades. They have the vents in stock for $10.21 each, and able to look up the part online.

The dealer to the west of me was a family-owned dealer for decades, until it was bought out by a mega-dealership corporation.

No online parts look-up, continuous pop-ups when trying to navigate, which usually makes me immediately not buy from that company, and worst of all, the price for the same vents are $25.00 each.

I won't do business with them any time soon. I will be driving right by them tomorrow, and I do mean actually driving right on by them.

So many sell-outs to corporations. In all industries. We all suffer because of it. I've been harping about that on here for years, if only so more will realize what's happening to us and who is causing it.

I'm glad I made the budget work to pre-buy some years worth of maintenance items before we were liberated from more of our money April 1st.

What is the full retail pricing? I generally do not give **** to dealers unless they are selling above normal retail.

Interesting how the world of tariffs only affected the corporate owned dealer on the other side of town and not the family owned dealer :hmm:

When you’re not moving metal you increase the price of everything else to compensate.

I much rather have tariffs on us then against us. LOL, give me a break. Every program those countries have was subsidized by the US tax payer for decades, now it is us getting it instead. How terrible, the golden goose is out of golden eggs, lmao. Buck up buttercups.

Such is the reality of the business world.
