Spark knock after 1.7HS upgrade

I just recently installed my HS 1.7 rockers and have about 300 miles on them and know I'm experiencing a spark knock at a load going up hill, I have fixed the plenum already do I need to regap my plugs to a different spec I am also using super chips 91 tune

i have never heard of this issue with them before. and i know a few that have installed them.
sounds like bad gas. are you running atleast 91 octane? 93 would be better.

and i have always ran a little cooler plug. that always helps with pinging.

Yes I am running 93 from shell

shell is usually good gas. so not for sure there. you could try some autolite 3923 plugs. they r pretty cheap and are colder.

Might be time to run a can of sea foam through there if you've never done that since the plenum was fixed.

I ran 44k since then........... I picked up some plugs, cap and button to see if that helps

Haven't had to much time to work on it or be on the forum here been on the road a lot and gf just hit a deer

Well after changing plugs, cap&button and wires and about 1200 miles it just stopped outta nowhere
