i have an 04 dodge 3500 slt 2 wheel drive with a speedometer issue, when you put the truck in drive and move forward the speedometer will register 45 mph. The speed will not change. When you come to a stop the needle will slowly decrease until it reaches about 10 mph. When you take off again speedometer will register 45 mph again and hold. Normally once you are actually going greater than 45 mph the speedometer will start to work correctly this may be 5 miles or has actually been greater than 50 miles. I have changed both speed sensors, serviced rear end with no change. This problem actually started about 3 years ago, I actually took the truck to dealer and at that time they could not duplicate problem, could not afford to keep taking to dealer, hope it will just fail them maybe I can fix, has anyone experienced this problem.
