Has anyone gone with the Duraflex MP-R sport style hood? I've got a 2010 sport but didn't come with the sport hood. It's fairly cheap @ 287$ and I'm wondering about fitment, how it's holding up etc. I've been keeping my eye out on Craigslist locally but haven't seen anything, kind of expected lol

I will help you out with some advise, just to consider while you're waiting.

When it comes to auto body parts, you get what you pay for. There's no questioning this. (Especially fiberglass products). Expect resurfacing, filling, sanding, and holes to be off.

Some may get lucky and everything will be perfect, that doesn't account for the other 99.9%.

If you can do all of this work on your own, buy it. Thats what I do. If you can't and you'd only prefer to pay for painting and mounting, do not buy a hood under $700 (ball park)

Also with aftermarket fiberglass hoods, I highly recommend some type of hood pins, because the latches they provide will be held on with nothing but fiberglass on fiberglass.
IMO

I agree with Austin. Unless I can lay my eyes on one of the hoods that your looking at. I would avoid ordering. I believe they would be more trouble than they are worth.

Not that answer I was wanting to hear but half expected, thanks for the help! Maybe I'll get on the horn with some wreckers.
